HYDROLOGIC OUTLOOK
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GREEN BAY WI
412 PM CDT MON SEP 30 2019

..PERIODS OF HEAVY RAINFALL EXPECTED TUESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY

A FRONTAL BOUNDARY IS EXPECTED TO BECOME NEARLY STATIONARY
TUESDAY INTO TUESDAY NIGHT BEFORE SLOWLY MOVING SOUTH DURING THE
DAY ON WEDNESDAY. THERE WILL BE ABUNDANT MOISTURE IN THE VICINITY
OF THE FRONT, MAKING HEAVY RAINFALL A LIKELY OCCURRENCE.

RAINFALL OVER THE PAST FEW WEEKS HAS LEFT SOILS SATURATED AHEAD
OF THE UPCOMING HEAVY RAINFALL EVENT. ONLY MINOR AMOUNTS OF RAIN
ARE EXPECTED OVERNIGHT, BUT AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 3 INCHES CAN BE
EXPECTED TUESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY. LOCALLY HIGHER RAINFALL TOTALS
ARE EXPECTED, ESPECIALLY WHERE THUNDERSTORMS TRAIN ACROSS THE SAME
AREA. THE MOST LIKELY LOCATIONS TO EXPERIENCE THE HEAVIEST
RAINFALL WILL BE NEAR AND SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 29. THE HEAVY RAINFALL
ON TOP OF THE SATURATED SOILS WILL LIKELY LEAD TO URBAN FLOODING
AND MAY RESULT IN MINOR FLOODING OF AREA STREAMS AND RIVERS.

ANYONE LIVING NEAR STREAMS AND RIVERS SHOULD CLOSELY MONITOR
FORECASTS AND STATEMENTS THROUGH MID WEEK, AS THE FLOODING THREAT
INCREASES.
