FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR EASTERN KENTUCKY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSON KY
308 PM EST WED NOV 13 2024

DISCUSSION
THERE ARE NO SUBSTANTIVE CHANGES TO THE FORECAST.
WETTING RAINS ARRIVE TONIGHT IN ADVANCE OF A COLD FRONT AND LOW
PRESSURE SYSTEM PASSING THROUGH THE OHIO VALLEY. THE POTENTIAL FOR
A SOAKING RAINFALL CONTINUES WITH THIS SYSTEM AS SUCH
PROBABILITIES ARE NOW BETWEEN 90 AND 100% FOR AT LEAST 0.50 INCH
OF RAINFALL ACROSS THE MAJORITY OF THE EASTERN KENTUCKY. HIGH
PRESSURE FOLLOWS THAT FRONT WITH A SUBSEQUENT SEASONABLY COOL, DRY
SPELL LASTING THROUGH THE UPCOMING WEEKEND.
