DISCUSSION

CLOUDS INCREASE ESPECIALLY THIS AFTERNOON AS MOISTURE
ALOFT SURGES INTO THE AREA AHEAD OF A WARM FRONT. DRY AIR AT THE LOW
LEVELS WILL INITIALLY CAUSE ANY INCOMING PRECIPITATION TO FALL AS
VIRGA, BUT EVENTUALLY SOME LIGHT SHOWERS COULD REACH THE GROUND BY
LATE THIS AFTERNOON OR TONIGHT. SHOWER CHANCES INCREASE THROUGH THE
OVERNIGHT TONIGHT, CONTINUING INTO THE AFTERNOON FRIDAY BEFORE
TRENDING DOWNWARD. WETTING RAINS ARE NOT EXPECTED WITH THIS LIGHT
SHOWER ACTIVITY, AND IN FACT THE INCIDENT AREA IS EXPECTED TO RECEIVE
LESS THAN 0.05" THROUGH FRIDAY AFTERNOON. PERHAPS THE BIGGER STORY
WILL BE THE GUSTY SOUTHWEST WINDS DEVELOPING BY LATE FRIDAY MORNING
AND CONTINUING INTO THE AFTERNOON DESPITE HIGHER MINIMUM AFTERNOON
HUMIDITY VALUES COMPARED TO THIS AFTERNOON.
