DISCUSSION.  
HIGH PRESSURE WILL BRING COOL AND DRY WEATHER  
THROUGH THE FIRST PART OF THE NIGHT. A DRY WARM FRONT THEN LIFTS  
THROUGH OUR REGION LATE TONIGHT AND EARLY WEDNESDAY. THE BOUNDARY  
WILL BE FOLLOWED BY WARM AND WINDY CONDITIONS AREA-WIDE ON  
WEDNESDAY WITH MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES IN THE LOWER TO MID 80S AND  
SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST GUSTS OF 30 TO 45 MPH FORECAST. THE STRONGEST  
WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO OCCUR OVER AND WEST OF THE DANIEL BOONE  
NATIONAL FOREST. AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF UNSETTLED WEATHER FOLLOWS  
FROM WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK AS A COLD FRONT SETTLES  
INTO THE OHIO VALLEY AND BECOMES NEARLY STATIONARY. SIGNIFICANT  
HEAVY RAINS (3 TO 6 INCHES) ARE ANTICIPATED FOR AT LEAST THE  
NORTHWESTERN PORTION OF THE FORECAST AREA. LIGHTER BUT STILL  
SOAKING RAINS (1 TO 3 INCHES) ARE EXPECTED OVER THE REST OF THE
