HIGH PRESSURE, LIGHT WINDS, DRY AIR AND CLEAR SKIES, LED TO COLD  
TEMPERATURES ACROSS WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA OVERNIGHT.  
OVERNIGHT LOWS RANGED FROM 13 DEGREES AT GORDON, TO 25 DEGREES AT  
BROKEN BOW. THE STATE LOW THIS MORNING WAS 11 DEGREES AT CHADRON  
AND ALLIANCE.  
 
HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD EAST OF THE AREA TODAY, ALLOWING WINDS TO  
SHIFT AROUND TO THE SOUTH OVER WESTERN NEBRASKA. THIS WILL PUSH  
WARMER AIR INTO THE WESTERN HALF OF THE STATE LATER TODAY. HIGHS  
THIS AFTERNOON WILL RANGE FROM AROUND 40 DEGREES IN THE O'NEILL  
AREA, TO THE LOWER 50S OVER FAR SOUTHWESTERN NEBRASKA.  
 
AFTER SEASONAL LOWS TONIGHT IN THE LOWER 20S, HIGHS ON FRIDAY WILL  
REACH INTO UPPER 40S IN NORTHEASTERN NEBRASKA TO AROUND 60 IN FAR  
SOUTHWESTERN NEBRASKA.
