DISCUSSION

THE DRY AIRMASS OVER THE REGION WILL LINGER THROUGH THIS
AFTERNOON EVEN AS WINDS BEGIN TO SHIFT TO A MORE EAST AND
SOUTHEAST DIRECTION. MINIMUM HUMIDITY VALUES WILL FALL BACK INTO
THE 20 TO 30 PERCENT RANGE THIS AFTERNOON, BUT WINDS WILL BE IN
THE 10 TO 15 MPH RANGE. OVER THE WEEKEND AND INTO EARLY NEXT
WEEK, A SERIES OF LOW PRESSURE SYSTEMS AND FRONTS WILL BRING
HIGHER RAIN CHANCES TO THE AREA. RAIN CHANCES WILL BE HIGHEST
SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY MORNING AND AGAIN MONDAY INTO MONDAY
NIGHT AS THESE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEMS PASS BY. THE HEAVIEST
RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL BE LIKELY ACROSS NORTHWEST PORTIONS OF THE
AREA. RAIN CHANCES WILL BRIEFLY END ON TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY AS A
DRIER HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVES IN, BUT ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM
COULD BRING HIGHER RAIN CHANCES BACK TO THE AREA ON THURSDAY.
