DISCUSSION

AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE AND COLD FRONT WILL IMPACT THE AREA TODAY
INTO EARLY SATURDAY, BRINGING PERIODS OF LIGHT RAIN AND SNOW. PRECIPITATION WILL
REMAIN IN THE FORM OF SPRINKLES OR FLURRIES THIS MORNING BEFORE TRANSITIONING
OVER TO LIGHT SCATTERED SHOWERS WITH A FEW SNOWFLAKES MIXED IN LATER THIS
MORNING AND INTO THE AFTERNOON AS THE MAIN WAVE OF ENERGY SWEEPS THROUGH.
PRECIPITATION AMOUNTS WILL BE FAIRLY LIMITED TO A FEW ONE HUNDREDTHS
ACROSS THE FIRE LOCATION. HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL TOP OUT AROUND 35 DEGREES
WITH LIGHT WEST WINDS AT 5 TO 10 MPH. MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES WILL
BOTTOM OUT BETWEEN 85 TO 90 PERCENT.

THESE VALUES RECOVER BACK BETWEEN 90 TO 100 PERCENT TONIGHT WITH A FEW LINGERING
SPRINKLES BEFORE MIDNIGHT. LOWS WILL FALL BACK AROUND 25 DEGREES UNDER
PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES.

SUNNY SKIES AND BREEZY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED SATURDAY UNDER POST WEST
TO NORTHWEST FLOW. HIGHS WILL STRUGGLE TO MAKE 30 DEGREES WITH WIND GUSTS
BETWEEN 30 TO 35 MPH. HIGHEST WINDS WILL OCCUR LATE MORNING AND EARLY AFTERNOON
DUE TO MIXING. WITH THE COLD TEMPERATURES AND ADDED WIND EXPECT WIND CHILLS
IN THE TEENS THROUGHOUT THE DAY,

EVEN COLDER WEATHER ARRIVES SUNDAY WITH LESS WIND AS HIGH PRESSURE SETTLES
OVER THE REGION. DRY CONDITIONS CONTINUE THROUGH MONDAY WITH PRECIPITATION
CHANCES INCREASING FOR THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK.
