WAVES ARE PROVIDED AS A RANGE OF SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHTS, WHICH  
IS THE AVERAGE OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVE, ALONG WITH THE  
AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 10% OF THE WAVES WHICH WILL  
OCCASIONALLY BE ENCOUNTERED.  
   
SYNOPSIS
 
 
LOW PRESSURE AROUND 29.7 INCHES OVER FAR NORTHERN MINNESOTA EARLY  
THIS MORNING WILL GRADUALLY WEAKEN AS IT TRACKS ACROSS THE  
NORTHERN GREAT LAKES INTO TONIGHT. THE STRONG PRESSURE CHANGE  
BETWEEN THE LOW AND ARCTIC HIGH OVER THE OHIO VALLEY, WILL RESULT  
IN SOUTHWEST GALES DEVELOPING EARLY THIS MORNING OVER THE ENTIRE  
OPEN LAKE, LASTING INTO THE EARLY AFTERNOON. A COLD FRONT WILL  
THEN SHIFT THE WINDS TO BRISK NORTHWESTERLY LATE THIS EVENING AND  
OVERNIGHT AND CONTINUE THROUGH THURSDAY. A HEAVY FREEZING SPRAY  
WARNING WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE DAY DUE TO THE FRIGID  
TEMPERATURES, HIGH WINDS, AND HIGH WAVE HEIGHTS.
