...ISOLATED PATCHES OF BLACK ICE POSSIBLE OVERNIGHT AND FOR THE
TUESDAY MORNING COMMUTE...

WHILE BREEZY CONDITIONS AND DRIER AIR MOVING INTO THE AREA WILL DRY
THE WATER FROM THE ROADS IN MOST SPOTS, PLACES WHERE RAINFALL DRAINS
ONTO OR ACROSS THE ROAD, ALONG WITH THE COMMON LARGER PUDDLES THAT
TAKE A WHILE TO DRY UP AFTER IT RAINS, MAY FREEZE OVERNIGHT AND
PRESENT A RISK FOR ISOLATED PATCHES OF BLACK ICE OVERNIGHT AND FOR
THE TUESDAY MORNING COMMUTE.

MOTORISTS ACROSS CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA SHOULD BE ALERT FOR ISOLATED
PATCHES OF BLACK ICE OVERNIGHT AND THROUGH THE TUESDAY MORNING
COMMUTE. SLOW DOWN, GIVE YOURSELF EXTRA TRAVEL TIME, AND IF YOU SEE
ANY WET SPOTS ON THE ROAD, IT'S BEST TO ASSUME THOSE SPOTS MAY BE
ICY. THE TEMPERATURE IS EXPECTED TO CLIMB ABOVE FREEZING BY 10 AM
TUESDAY MORNING FOR AREAS SOUTH AND EAST OF RALEIGH, AND BY 11 AM
