...STRONG WINDS ALLOW FOR A FEW HOURS OF ELEVATED TO CRITICAL
FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS TODAY...

STRONG SOUTHWESTERLY-TO-WESTERLY WINDS ARE EXPECTED TODAY AS A
WINTER STORM SYSTEM BRINGS MODERATE TO HEAVY SIERRA SNOW SHOWERS
AND VALLEY RAIN GOING THROUGH TUESDAY. WITH MINIMUM RH VALUES
AROUND 20% THIS AFTERNOON, A FEW HOURS OF CRITICAL FIRE CONDITIONS
ARE EXPECTED. IN ADDITION, SHOWERS HAVE A ~10% CHANCE TO CONTAIN
LIGHTNING TODAY CAUSING POTENTIAL FIRE DANGER DURING THE AFTERNOON.
