AREAS OF DENSE FOG WITH VISIBILITY 1 NM OR LESS IS PERSISTING IN  
THE WATERS OFF SAN DIEGO COUNTY. THIS FOG MAY ERODE SOME ALONG THE  
IMMEDIATE COAST OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS. CONDITIONS SHOULD  
IMPROVE WITH FOG LIFTING/CLEARING BY LATE MORNING, BUT SOME AREAS  
OF FOG COULD LINGER INTO THE AFTERNOON, ESPECIALLY FOR THE  
NEARSHORE WATERS. FOG IS POSSIBLE AGAIN THURSDAY EVENING INTO  
FRIDAY MORNING, BUT SHOULD BE PATCHIER THAN THIS MORNING.  
 
MARINERS SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR SUDDEN DROPS IN VISIBILITY.  
REDUCE SPEEDS AND BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR OTHER VESSELS. USE RADAR  
OR GPS NAVIGATION IF AVAILABLE, AND CONSIDER REMAINING IN HARBOR  
IF SUCH EQUIPMENT IS UNAVAILABLE.
