CALIFORNIA...  
 
SACRAMENTO RIVER AT TEHAMA BRIDGE AFFECTING TEHAMA COUNTY.  
 
.A SERIES OF STRONG WINTER STORMS BROUGHT PERIODS OF MODERATE TO  
HEAVY RAINFALL TO NORTHERN CALIFORNIA LAST WEEK. THIS HAS RESULTED  
IN CONTINUED ELEVATED FLOW AT SOME LOCATIONS ALONG THE MAINSTEM  
SACRAMENTO RIVER AND ITS TRIBUTARIES. ADDITIONAL MODERATE TO HEAVY  
PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED THURSDAY INTO FRIDAY WITH RENEWED RISES.  
 
FOR THE UPPER SACRAMENTO RIVER...INCLUDING TEHAMA BRIDGE...MINOR  
FLOODING IS FORECAST.  
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...  
 
MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE AROUND BARRICADES OR DRIVE  
CARS THROUGH FLOODED AREAS.  
 
TURN AROUND, DON'T DROWN WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS. MOST FLOOD  
DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES.
