DISCUSSION

A STRONG DISTURBANCE WILL MOVE OVER NORTH CENTRAL MONTANA THIS
AFTERNOON, BRINGING A PERIOD OF VERY STRONG WINDS TO THE INCIDENT
AREA. LATEST WIND GUST PROBABILITIES SUPPORT A 55% CHANCE FOR
GUSTS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH FROM THE LATE MORNING THROUGH EARLY
EVENING HOURS TONIGHT, WITH A 20% CHANCE FOR GUSTS TO EXCEED 70
MPH OVER THIS TIMEFRAME. THESE STRONG WINDS COMBINED WITH OVERALL
DRY CONDITIONS FROM FALL THROUGH EARLY WINTER MAY CONTRIBUTE TO
BLOWING DUST AND REDUCED VISIBILITY. HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL

CLOSER TO NORMAL ON THURSDAY AMONGST LIGHTER WINDS.
