AN AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD IN JUST TO OUR EAST, OVER THE
FOUR CORNERS REGION ON WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. THIS WILL ALLOW
TEMPERATURES TO RECOVER WITH HIGHS NEARING THE SEASONAL NORMAL ON

THE STRENGTH AND TIMING.

AVIATION...FOR HARRY REID
LIGHT AND VARIABLE WINDS WILL PERSIST
AT THE FIELD THROUGH THE AFTERNOON BEFORE A WEAK FRONT MOVES THROUGH
THE VALLEY THIS EVENING, SHIFTING WINDS TO THE NORTHWEST. A BRIEF
INCREASE IN SPEEDS IS LIKELY ONCE THE WIND SHIFTS, BUT THERE IS A
GREATER THAN 80 PERCENT CHANCE THAT SPEEDS WILL REMAIN LESS THAN 80
KNOTS. WINDS SHOULD FALL BELOW 8 KNOTS AFTER MIDNIGHT AND THEN
GRADUALLY TURN TO THE NORTHEAST BY DAYBREAK. LIGHT NORTHEAST WINDS
WILL CONTINUE TOMORROW AFTERNOON BEFORE TURNING SOUTHWEST AROUND
SUNSET TOMORROW EVENING. VFR CONDITIONS WILL PREVAIL THROUGH
TUESDAY WITH FEW TO SCT CLOUDS WITH BASES AOA 15KFT AGL EXPECTED.
LOOKING AHEAD, HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD OVER THE AREA FOR THE SECOND
HALF OF THE WORK WEEK, KEEPING WINDS MAINLY 10 KNOTS OR LESS THROUGH
FRIDAY. THE NEXT STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING INCREASING SOUTHWEST WINDS
AND THE CHANCE OF PRECIPITATION TO THE REGION LATE SATURDAY INTO
MONDAY.

FOR THE REST OF SOUTHERN NEVADA, NORTHWEST ARIZONA AND SOUTHEAST
CALIFORNIA...MOST AREAS WILL SEE LIGHT WINDS THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON
BEFORE TURNING TO THE NORTH THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT. KDAG WILL
BE THE EXCEPTION, WITH GUSTY WESTERLY WINDS OF AROUND 40 KNOTS THAT
CONTINUE INTO THE EVENING BEFORE DECREASING. BREEZY SOUTHERLY WINDS
CAN ALSO BE EXPECTED IN THE LOWER COLORADO RIVER VALLEY, WHERE A FEW
GUSTS TO 20 KNOTS CAN BE EXPECTED. BESIDES THE RIVER VALLEY, WINDS
OF LESS THAN 12 KNOTS ARE EXPECTED AREA-WIDE ON TUESDAY. NORTHERLY
BREEZES WITH GUSTS TO 25 KNOTS CAN BE EXPECTED IN THE VALLEY. VFR
CONDITIONS WILL PREVAIL THROUGH TUESDAY WITH FEW TO SCT CLOUDS WITH
