...THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS OVER PARTS OF
THE MID-ATLANTIC, OHIO VALLEY, AND SOUTHERN PLAINS...

...HEAVY RAIN POSSIBLE FROM PARTS OF THE NORTHERN OHIO VALLEY INTO
THE CENTRAL APPALACHIANS...

...HEAVY RAIN POSSIBLE OVER THE EAST COAST OF THE FLORIDA
PENINSULA...

A QUASI-STATIONARY FRONT EXTENDING FROM THE MID-ATLANTIC WESTWARD
TO THE MIDDLE MISSISSIPPI VALLEY THEN SOUTHWARD OVER THE SOUTHERN
PLAINS WILL AID IN FOCUSING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS FROM THE
MID-ATLANTIC WESTWARD TO THE CENTRAL PLAINS THROUGH TUESDAY. IN
ADDITION, DIURNALLY DRIVEN SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP
ALONG AND AHEAD OF THE ASSOCIATED DRYLINE THROUGH TUESDAY, TOO.
ADDITIONALLY, A DEEP UPPER-LEVEL LOW OVER THE GREAT BASIN WILL
SLOWLY WEAKEN THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING. THE ENERGY ASSOCIATED WITH
THE LOW WILL AID IN PRODUCING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER PARTS
OF THE NORTHERN/CENTRAL PLAINS, NORTHERN INTERMOUNTAIN REGION,
GREAT BASIN, AND THE SIERRAS LIKEWISE THROUGH TUESDAY.

MEANWHILE, A DEVELOPING UPPER-LEVEL LOW OVER THE NORTHEAST PORTION
OF THE GULF OF MEXICO WILL AID IN DRAWING A PLUME OF MOISTURE FROM
THE TROPICS OVER FLORIDA MOVING NORTHWARD INTO THE SOUTHEAST AND
INTO THE CENTRAL GULF COAST BY TUESDAY. THE MOISTURE WILL AID IN
DEVELOPING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER FLORIDA THAT WILL SLOWLY
MOVE NORTHWARD INTO THE SOUTHEAST AND INTO THE CENTRAL GULF COAST
BY TUESDAY EVENING.
