...WET CONDITIONS FOR THE GULF COAST, UPPER MIDWEST, AND PARTS OF  
DESERT SOUTHWEST, AND PLEASANT FOR THE NORTHEAST U.S. AND  
MID-ATLANTIC REGION...  
 
STORMY WEATHER IS EXPECTED ACROSS THE DAKOTAS AND INTO MINNESOTA  
THURSDAY EVENING AND INTO EARLY FRIDAY AS A POTENT WEATHER  
DISTURBANCE CROSSES NEAR THE CANADIAN BORDER, WITH THE BEST CHANCE  
OF SEVERE WEATHER OVER NORTH DAKOTA. THIS SAME STORM SYSTEM IS  
EXPECTED TO PRODUCE HEAVY RAINFALL FROM NORTHERN MINNESOTA TO  
WISCONSIN, WITH GENERAL 1 TO 2 INCH RAINFALL AMOUNTS LIKELY.  
ADDITIONAL SHOWERS AND STORMS ARE ALSO EXPECTED OVER THE GULF  
COAST REGION.  
 
TROPICAL MOISTURE ASSOCIATED WITH THE FUTURE REMNANTS OF WHAT IS  
NOW TROPICAL STORM BUD WILL BEGIN IMPINGING ON SOUTHERN ARIZONA  
AND NEW MEXICO BY LATER FRIDAY AND INTO SATURDAY. ANOMALOUS  
MOISTURE LEVELS FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR, PRIOR TO THE TYPICAL ONSET  
OF MONSOON SEASON, WILL RESULT IN SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS  
AND STORMS, WITH THE POSSIBILITY THAT SOME COULD PRODUCE FLOODING  
ISSUES.  
 
ACROSS THE EASTERN U.S. FROM THE OHIO VALLEY TO THE MID-ATLANTIC  
AND NORTHEAST U.S., A HIGH QUALITY AIRMASS WILL GOVERN THE WEATHER  
PATTERN THROUGH FRIDAY BEFORE A SIGNIFICANT WARMING TREND ENSUES  
BY THE WEEKEND. HIGHS IN THE 70S AND 80S, AND LOW HUMIDITY ARE  
EXPECTED BEHIND A CANADIAN COLD FRONT, WITH SUNNY TO PARTLY CLOUDY  
SKIES.
