THE CENTRAL HIGH PLAINS INTO THE NORTHERN ROCKIES...  
 
...HEAVY RAIN POSSIBLE OVER THE CENTRAL GULF COAST AND PARTS OF  
THE CENTRAL PLAINS...  
 
A FRONT EXTENDING FROM THE GREAT LAKES SOUTHWESTWARD TO THE MIDDLE  
MISSISSIPPI VALLEY AND THE CENTRAL/SOUTHERN HIGH PLAINS WILL MOVE  
EASTWARD TO THE NORTHEAST/MID-ATLANTIC COAST THEN WESTWARD TO  
SOUTHERN HIGH PLAINS BY TUESDAY EVENING. SHOWERS AND  
THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP ALONG AND AHEAD OF THE BOUNDARY FROM  
THE GREAT LAKES SOUTHWESTWARD TO THE CENTRAL/SOUTHERN HIGH PLAINS  
THAT WILL MOVE EASTWARD TO THE NORTHEAST/MID-ATLANTIC ACROSS THE  
CENTRAL APPALACHIANS/TENNESSEE VALLEY INTO THE LOWER MISSISSIPPI  
VALLEY/SOUTHERN PLAINS BY TUESDAY EVENING. IN ADDITION, TROPICAL  
MOISTURE EXTENDING FROM THE CENTRAL/SOUTHERN PLAINS INTO THE  
SOUTHEAST WITH POCKETS EXTENDING INTO THE OHIO VALLEY/SOUTHERN  
MID-ATLANTIC ALONG WITH DAYTIME HEATING AND WEAK UPPER-LEVEL  
IMPULSES WILL AID IN PRODUCING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS  
THE REGION. THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL RETREAT TO THE  
CENTRAL/EASTERN GULF COAST AND PARTS OF THE SOUTHEAST AHEAD OF THE  
AFOREMENTIONED FRONT BY TUESDAY EVENING.  
 
MEANWHILE, DISORGANIZED UPPER-LEVEL ENERGY OVER THE PACIFIC  
NORTHWEST WILL MOVE TO THE NORTHERN HIGH PLAINS BY TUESDAY  
EVENING. THE ENERGY WILL AID IN PRODUCING SHOWERS AND  
THUNDERSTORMS OVER PARTS OF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST INTO PARTS OF  
THE NORTHERN INTERMOUNTAIN REGION ON MONDAY MORNING. THE SHOWERS  
AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE EASTWARD TO PARTS OF THE CENTRAL  
PLAINS WHILE EXTENDING WESTWARD TO THE NORTHERN ROCKIES/NORTHERN  
HIGH PLAINS BY TUESDAY EVENING. ADDITIONALLY, MONSOONAL MOISTURE  
AND DAYTIME HEATING WILL AID IN PRODUCING SHOWERS AND  
THUNDERSTORMS OVER PARTS OF THE GREAT BASIN/SOUTHEAST INTO PARTS  
OF THE CENTRAL/SOUTHERN ROCKIES THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING. THE  
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL HAVE THE GREATEST AREAL COVERAGE  
DURING THE LATE AFTERNOON INTO THE LATE EVENING ON MONDAY AND  
TUESDAY.
