WITH AIR QUALITY CONCERNS...

MONSOONAL MOISTURE IS BEING PULLED INTO THE DESERT SOUTHWEST EARLY
THIS MORNING WHICH IS LEADING TO HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS MUCH OF THE
SOUTHWEST AND THE GREAT BASIN. FLASH FLOOD WATCHES ARE IN EFFECT

POSSIBLE IN THE CENTRAL AND NORTHERN PLAINS. BY THURSDAY, THE

LOCALIZED FLOODING.

CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE POSSIBLE ESPECIALLY IN
EASTERN IDAHO FOR TODAY. MEANWHILE, THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST AND
PORTIONS OF THE INTERMOUNTAIN WEST CONTINUES TO HAVE WIDESPREAD,
POOR AIR QUALITY DUE TO THE SMOKE FROM ONGOING FIRES. AIR QUALITY
