...AN AIR QUALITY ALERT DUE TO WILDFIRES REMAINS IN EFFECT ACROSS  
SOUTHERN OREGON...  
 
...TEMPERATURES WILL BE 10 TO 15 DEGREES ABOVE AVERAGE OVER PARTS  
OF THE NORTHEAST...  
 
A FRONT EXTENDING FROM THE UPPER GREAT LAKES SOUTHWESTWARD TO THE  
SOUTHERN HIGH PLAINS WILL MOVE EASTWARD TO THE NORTHEAST COAST  
SOUTHWESTWARD TO THE LOWER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY/SOUTHERN PLAINS BY  
THURSDAY. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP ALONG AND NEAR  
THE BOUNDARY FROM THE GREAT LAKES TO THE SOUTHERN HIGH PLAINS THAT  
WILL MOVE EASTWARD TO THE NORTHEAST/OHIO VALLEY INTO PARTS OF THE  
LOWER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY/SOUTHERN PLAINS BY THURSDAY. IN  
ADDITION, TROPICAL MOISTURE EXTENDING FROM THE SOUTHEAST WESTWARD  
TO PARTS OF THE WESTERN GULF COAST AND UPPER-LEVEL IMPULSES WILL  
TRIGGER SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE REGION THROUGH  
THURSDAY.  
 
MEANWHILE, A FRONT WILL MOVE SOUTHEASTWARD FROM WESTERN CANADA TO  
PARTS OF THE NORTHERN ROCKIES SOUTHWESTWARD INTO THE PACIFIC  
NORTHWEST ON WEDNESDAY INTO THURSDAY. WEAK ONSHORE FLOW AND THE  
BOUNDARY WILL AID IN PRODUCING RAIN OVER PARTS OF THE PACIFIC  
NORTHWEST COAST BEGINNING ON WEDNESDAY AND CONTINUING THROUGH  
THURSDAY. ONE AIR QUALITY ALERT REMAINS IN PLACE ACROSS SOUTHERN  
OREGON, WHERE AN ONGOING WILDFIRE CONTINUES TO BURN.
