...HEAVY RAIN POSSIBLE OVER PARTS THE UPPER/MIDDLE MISSISSIPPI  
VALLEY INTO THE UPPER GREAT LAKES...  
 
...TEMPERATURES WILL BE 10 TO 20 DEGREES BELOW AVERAGE OVER PARTS  
OF THE NORTHERN/CENTRAL PLAINS INTO THE GREAT LAKES...  
 
...SNOW POSSIBLE OVER THE HIGHEST ELEVATION OF THE NORTHERN  
ROCKIES AND NORTHERN PLAINS...  
 
HURRICANE ROSA, CURRENTLY IN THE EASTERN PACIFIC IS FORECAST TO  
MAKE LANDFALL INTO BAJA CALIFORNIA BY OVERNIGHT MONDAY. THE  
SYSTEM IS FORECAST TO BECOME A HEAVY RAIN PRODUCER FOR THE DESERT  
SOUTHWEST BY EARLY NEXT WEEK. CHECK THE LATEST ADVISORY FROM THE  
NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER FOR THE TRACK AND INTENSITY OF ROSA.  
MOISTURE ASSOCIATED WITH ROSA WILL MOVE INLAND OVER PARTS OF THE  
SOUTHWEST OVERNIGHT SUNDAY AIDING IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF SHOWERS  
AND THUNDERSTORMS FROM SUNDAY EVENING INTO MONDAY OVER PARTS OF  
THE SOUTHWEST.  
 
TROPICAL MOISTURE OVER THE WESTERN GULF COAST TO THE SOUTHEAST AND  
AN OLD BOUNDARY WILL AID IN PRODUCING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS  
OVER THE REGION THROUGH MONDAY. THE GREATEST AREAL COVERAGE WILL  
BE DURING THE AFTERNOON INTO THE EVENING HOURS.  
 
MEANWHILE, A FRONT EXTENDING FROM THE CENTRAL HIGH PLAINS EASTWARD  
TO THE MIDDLE MISSISSIPPI VALLEY WILL LIFT NORTHWARD INTO THE OHIO  
VALLEY EASTWARD INTO THE NORTHERN MID-ATLANTIC BY MONDAY. RAIN  
WITH EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP OVER PARTS OF THE CENTRAL  
PLAINS/MIDDLE MISSISSIPPI VALLEY THAT WILL EXPAND EASTWARD INTO  
THE GREAT LAKES/OHIO VALLEY ON SUNDAY INTO MONDAY. ALONG THE  
WESTERN END OF THE BOUNDARY, RAIN AND HIGHEST ELEVATION SNOW WILL  
DEVELOP OVER PARTS OF THE NORTHERN ROCKIES/NORTHERN HIGH PLAINS  
THAT WILL SLOWLY LIFT NORTHWARD INTO CANADA BY MONDAY MORNING.  
 
IN ADDITION, UPPER-LEVEL ENERGY WILL MOVE INLAND OVER PARTS OF  
NORTHERN CALIFORNIA/PACIFIC NORTHWEST THAT WILL MOVE EASTWARD TO  
CENTRAL PLAINS BY MONDAY. THE ENERGY AND WEAK ONSHORE FLOW WILL  
AID IN PRODUCING RAIN OVER PARTS OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA AND THE  
PACIFIC NORTHWEST THROUGH MONDAY. AS THE ENERGY MOVES OUT OF THE  
ROCKIES, RAIN AND SNOW WILL DEVELOP OVER PARTS OF THE NORTHERN  
PLAINS OVERNIGHT SUNDAY BEFORE MOVING INTO CANADA BY MONDAY.
