NORTHEASTWARD TO THE MIDDLE MISSISSIPPI VALLEY...  
 
...HEAVY SNOW POSSIBLE AT THE HIGHEST ELEVATIONS OF THE  
NORTHERN/CENTRAL ROCKIES...  
 
...TEMPERATURES WILL BE 10 TO 20 DEGREES BELOW AVERAGE FROM THE  
PLAINS WESTWARD INTO THE NORTHERN ROCKIES/GREAT BASIN...  
 
A FRONT WILL BECOME QUASI-STATIONARY FROM PARTS OF THE SOUTHERN  
PLAINS TO PARTS OF THE MIDDLE MISSISSIPPI/WESTERN OHIO VALLEYS  
THROUGH MONDAY. THE EASTERN PARTS OF THE FRONT WILL MOVE FROM THE  
GREAT LAKES TO OFF THE NORTHEAST COAST BY MONDAY. SHOWERS AND  
THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP ALONG AND NEAR THE BOUNDARY FROM THE  
GREAT LAKES TO THE SOUTHERN PLAINS. LIKEWISE, THE SHOWERS AND  
THUNDERSTORMS ALONG THE EASTERN END OF THE FRONT WILL MOVE  
EASTWARD INTO PARTS OF THE NORTHEAST BY SATURDAY EVENING,  
CONTINUING OVER NORTHEAST THROUGH MONDAY. SHOWERS AND  
THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE OVER THE SOUTHERN PLAINS TO PARTS OF  
THE MIDDLE MISSISSIPPI/WESTERN OHIO VALLEYS THROUGH MONDAY.  
DIURNALLY DRIVEN SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP OVER PARTS  
OF THE TENNESSEE VALLEY TO PARTS OF THE SOUTHERN MID-ATLANTIC  
THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING. ADDITIONALLY, TROPICAL MOISTURE STREAMING  
OVER FLORIDA AND THE WESTERN/CENTRAL GULF COAST WILL TRIGGER  
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE REGION THROUGH MONDAY.  
 
MEANWHILE, UPPER-LEVEL ENERGY OVER THE WESTERN THIRD OF THE  
COUNTRY WILL FORM AN UPPER-LEVEL LOW OVER CALIFORNIA AND THE THE  
GREAT BASIN/SOUTHWEST BY SUNDAY MORNING THAT WILL SLOWLY MOVE  
SOUTHWARD TO THE U. S./MEXICAN BORDER BY SUNDAY EVENING. THE  
ENERGY WILL AID IN DEVELOPING HIGHER ELEVATION SNOW AND LOWER  
ELEVATION RAIN OVER PARTS OF THE NORTHERN/CENTRAL ROCKIES THROUGH  
MONDAY. HEAVY SNOW IS POSSIBLE AT THE HIGHEST ELEVATIONS. RAIN  
AND SNOW WILL MOVE INTO PARTS OF THE NORTHERN HIGH PLAINS ON  
SUNDAY MORNING INTO SUNDAY EVENING. RAIN WILL ALSO DEVELOP OVER  
PARTS OF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST/NORTHERN CALIFORNIA AND PARTS OF  
THE GREAT BASIN THAT WILL MOVE SOUTHEASTWARD TO THE  
SOUTHWEST/CENTRAL ROCKIES BY SUNDAY MORNING. THE RAIN WILL END  
OVER PARTS OF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST AND CALIFORNIA BY SUNDAY  
MORNING, TOO. ADDITIONALLY, A WARM FRONT MOVE NEAR THE PACIFIC  
NORTHWEST ON SUNDAY WILL PRODUCE RAIN OVER PARTS OF THE PACIFIC  
NORTHWEST COAST ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON INTO MONDAY.
