...WIDESPREAD PRECIPITATION AND GUSTY WINDS CONTINUE ACROSS THE  
NORTHEAST THIS EVENING, WITH WINTRY WEATHER EXPECTED ACROSS  
PORTIONS OF NORTHERN NEW ENGLAND...  
   
..HEAVY RAINFALL POSSIBLE FOR THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST
 
 
AN EARLY SEASON COASTAL LOW WILL CONTINUE TO TRACK NORTH FROM THE  
MID-ATLANTIC INTO THE NORTHEAST SATURDAY EVENING. WINDY  
CONDITIONS WITH WIDESPREAD PRECIPITATION WILL PERSIST ACROSS THE  
NORTHEAST INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. WINTER WEATHER ADVISORIES ARE  
IN EFFECT FOR THE ADIRONDACK REGION OF UPSTATE NEW YORK AND  
PORTIONS OF NORTHERN NEW ENGLAND, WHERE A WINTRY MIX, RESULTING IN  
ACCUMULATING ICE AND A FEW INCHES OF WET SNOW, IS EXPECTED. AS  
THE LOW TRACKS NORTH INTO SOUTHERN QUEBEC, LESS WINDY CONDITIONS  
WITH SCATTERED PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED ACROSS THE NORTHEAST ON  
SUNDAY.  
 
FURTHER WEST, PRECIPITATION WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE EAST OUT AHEAD  
OF AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE STRENGTHENING OVER THE NORTHERN PLAINS  
AND UPPER MIDWEST SATURDAY EVENING. THIS SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO  
MOVE QUICKLY TO THE SOUTHEAST, DROPPING INTO THE OHIO VALLEY ON  
SUNDAY, BEFORE BRINGING SOME ORGANIZED RAINS BACK INTO PORTIONS OF  
THE NORTHERN MID-ATLANTIC AND NORTHEAST LATE SUNDAY INTO EARLY  
MONDAY. BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURE ARE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE ACROSS  
MUCH OF THE OHIO VALLEY, MID-ATLANTIC AND NORTHEAST INTO MONDAY,  
WHILE WARMER TEMPERATURES EXTEND FURTHER EAST ACROSS THE LOWER  
MISSISSIPPI VALLEY SUNDAY AND INTO THE SOUTHEAST ON MONDAY.  
 
A MOISTURE-LADEN FRONTAL SYSTEM MOVING INTO THE NORTHWEST IS  
EXPECTED TO PRODUCE SOME HEAVIER PRECIPITATION AMOUNTS ACROSS  
WESTERN WASHINGTON AND OREGON, WITH THE HEAVIEST AMOUNTS FALLING  
ALONG THE COASTAL RANGES AND CASCADES. SOME LOCALLY HEAVY AMOUNTS  
CAN ALSO BE EXPECTED FURTHER TO THE EAST ACROSS THE NORTHERN  
ROCKIES OF NORTHERN IDAHO AND WESTERN MONTANA. IN ADDITION TO  
HEAVIER PRECIPITATION, THIS SYSTEM WILL INTRODUCE COOLER  
TEMPERATURES, WITH BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES EXTENDING FROM THE  
NORTHWEST INTO THE NORTHERN GREAT BASIN AND ROCKIES BY MONDAY.  
ACROSS THE REMAINDER OF THE WEST INTO THE PLAINS, ABOVE NORMAL  
TEMPERATURES ARE FORECAST TO CONTINUE THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF THE  
WEEKEND INTO MONDAY. ON SUNDAY, THE COMBINATION OF WARM  
TEMPERATURES AND GUSTY WINDS WILL RESULT IN ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER  
CONDITIONS FOR THE SIERRA FRONT INTO WEST-CENTRAL NEVADA.
