FIRE WEATHER RISKS...  
 
...AIR STAGNATION AND AIR QUALITY ALERTS CONTINUE TO BE IN EFFECT  
FOR PARTS OF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST AND CALIFORNIA...  
 
A FRONT EXTENDING FROM THE OHIO VALLEY/CENTRAL APPALACHIANS  
SOUTHWESTWARD TO THE SOUTHERN PLAINS WILL MOVE OFF THE  
NORTHEAST/NORTHERN MID-ATLANTIC COAST BY MONDAY EVENING. THE  
CENTRAL/SOUTHERN PART OF THE BOUNDARY WILL MOVE EASTWARD TO THE  
CENTRAL APPALACHIANS TO THE CENTRAL GULF COAST AND OFF THE WESTERN  
GULF COAST BY MONDAY EVENING, TOO. RAIN AND SNOW WILL DEVELOP  
JUST NORTH OF THE FRONT FROM THE MIDDLE MISSISSIPPI VALLEY TO THE  
LOWER GREAT LAKES THAT WILL MOVE INTO THE NORTHEAST OVERNIGHT  
SUNDAY AND MOVING OFF THE NORTHEAST COAST BY MONDAY EVENING. THE  
RAIN AND SNOW AREAS WILL CHANGE OVER TO ALL RAIN FROM THE MIDDLE  
MISSISSIPPI VALLEY TO THE OHIO VALLEY BY SUNDAY EVENING. THE RAIN  
WILL EXPAND INTO PARTS OF THE NORTHERN MID-ATLANTIC OVERNIGHT  
SUNDAY AS WELL. IN ADDITION, RAIN WILL DEVELOP ALONG THE BOUNDARY  
FROM PARTS OF THE MIDDLE MISSISSIPPI VALLEY INTO PARTS OF THE  
SOUTHERN PLAINS THAT WILL MOVE EASTWARD TO THE TENNESSEE VALLEY TO  
PARTS OF THE CENTRAL GULF COAST BY MONDAY EVENING. THE RAIN WILL  
MOVE OUT OF THE MIDDLE MISSISSIPPI VALLEY BY MONDAY EVENING WHILE  
EXTENDING FROM THE OHIO VALLEY INTO PARTS OF THE MID-ATLANTIC  
OVERNIGHT MONDAY INTO TUESDAY. AN AREA OF SHOWERS AND  
THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP OVER PARTS OF THE WESTERN GULF COAST ON  
SUNDAY THAT WILL BE MOVE SOUTHEASTWARD OFF THE WESTERN GULF COAST  
BY MONDAY EVENING.  
 
MEANWHILE, A SECOND FRONT OVER SOUTH/CENTRAL CANADA WILL MOVE  
SOUTHEASTWARD TO THE GREAT LAKES/NORTHERN NEW ENGLAND TO THE  
MIDDLE MISSISSIPPI VALLEY/CENTRAL PLAINS WITH A WARM FRONT OVER  
PARTS OF THE NORTHERN PLAINS BY MONDAY EVENING. LIGHT SNOW WILL  
DEVELOP OVER PARTS OF THE UPPER GREAT LAKES BY SUNDAY AFTERNOON  
AND PARTS OF THE NORTHERN PLAINS BY SUNDAY EVENING. BY MONDAY  
AFTERNOON SNOW WILL ENTER NORTHERN NEW ENGLAND. BY MONDAY EVENING  
SNOW WILL EXTEND FROM PARTS OF THE NORTHERN PLAINS INTO THE GREAT  
LAKES AND NORTHERN NEW ENGLAND.  
 
A RED FLAG WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR THE SACRAMENTO AREA. LOW  
RELATIVE HUMIDITIES AND GUSTY WINDS WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE FIRE  
WEATHER CONDITIONS. ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER RISK WILL ALSO CONTINUE  
INTO SUNDAY FOR CENTRAL/SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. AS THE WILDFIRES  
CONTINUE TO BURN ACROSS CALIFORNIA, AIR QUALITY ALERTS WILL  
PERSIST UNTIL THE FIRES ARE EXTINGUISHED. FARTHER NORTH IN THE  
PACIFIC NORTHWEST, AIR STAGNATION ALERTS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH  
TUESDAY AS THE UPPER-LEVEL RIDGING CONTINUES.
