...HEAVY SNOW POSSIBLE FOR THE UPPER GREAT LAKES AND PARTS OF THE  
MIDDLE MISSISSIPPI VALLEY AS WELL AS PARTS OF THE NORTHERN  
CASCADES...  
   
..COLD TEMPERATURES OVER THE NORTHEAST/MID-ATLANTIC WILL MODIFY
 
 
A STORM OVER THE CENTRAL HIGH PLAINS WILL MOVE NORTHEASTWARD TO  
THE GREAT LAKES BY WEDNESDAY. THE SYSTEM WILL PRODUCE SNOW OVER  
THE UPPER MIDWEST, NORTHERN/CENTRAL ROCKIES, AND GREAT BASIN THAT  
WILL END OVER THE GREAT BASIN OVERNIGHT MONDAY. SNOW WILL ALSO  
MOVE INTO THE UPPER GREAT LAKES OVERNIGHT MONDAY. OVERNIGHT  
TUESDAY, THE SNOW WILL END OVER THE NORTHERN/CENTRAL PLAINS. ALSO  
OVERNIGHT TUESDAY, SNOW WILL DEVELOP ALONG THE NORTHWESTERN EDGE  
OF THE PRECIPITATION SHIELD ALONG THE ASSOCIATED FRONT. BY  
TUESDAY MORNING, RAIN WILL DEVELOP OVER PARTS OF THE LOWER/MIDDLE  
MISSISSIPPI VALLEY AND PARTS OF THE CENTRAL/SOUTHERN PLAINS THAT  
WILL MOVE EASTWARD TO PARTS OF THE LOWER GREAT LAKES TO THE  
CENTRAL/WESTERN GULF COAST BY WEDNESDAY. IN ADDITION, ONSHORE  
FLOW OFF THE ATLANTIC WILL AID IN PRODUCING RAIN OVER PARTS OF THE  
SOUTHEAST OVERNIGHT TUESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY.  
 
MEANWHILE, ONSHORE FLOW OFF THE PACIFIC WILL AID IN DEVELOPING  
RAIN AND HIGHER ELEVATIONS SNOW OVER PARTS OF THE PACIFIC  
NORTHWEST EARLY TUESDAY MORNING INTO WEDNESDAY. SNOW WILL ALSO  
DEVELOP OVER PARTS OF THE NORTHERN ROCKIES ON TUESDAY AFTERNOON  
INTO WEDNESDAY. ELSEWHERE, SNOW ASSOCIATED WITH DEEP LOW OVER THE  
CANADIAN MARITIMES WILL SLOWLY WIND DOWN OVER THE NORTHEAST  
OVERNIGHT MONDAY.
