330 PM EDT SAT MAR 16 2019

VALID 00Z SUN MAR 17 2019 - 00Z TUE MAR 19 2019

...MAJOR RIVER FLOODING WILL CONTINUE ACROSS PARTS OF THE
MISSISSIPPI AND MISSOURI RIVER BASINS...

...SNOW MELT MAY LEAD TO AREAL FLOODING ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE
PACIFIC NORTHWEST, NORTHERN ROCKIES AND SURROUNDING AREAS...

..QUIET WEATHER FOR MUCH OF THE CONUS THIS WEEKEND

NUMEROUS LOCATIONS ALONG THE MISSOURI AND MISSISSIPPI RIVERS, AND
THEIR TRIBUTARIES, WILL CONTINUE TO HAVE MAJOR TO HISTORIC
FLOODING FOR AT LEAST INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK THANKS TO HEAVY
RAINFALL EARLIER THIS WEEK FALLING ON FROZEN GROUND AND A DEEP
SNOW PACK THAT LEAD TO INTENSE AND QUICK MELTING. FLOOD WARNINGS
AND ADVISORIES REMAIN IN EFFECT, MAINLY ACROSS PARTS OF THE
EASTERN NEBRASKA, IOWA, AND SOUTHERN WISCONSIN. WARMER
TEMPERATURES THIS WEEKEND ACROSS MUCH OF THE NORTHWEST, ROCKIES
AND ADJACENT HIGH PLAINS WILL CAUSE SNOW MELT AND RUNOFF, WHICH
MAY LEAD TO LOW-LYING AREAS TO FLOOD GIVEN THAT THE GROUND IS
STILL FROZEN. SHOULD ICE JAMS OCCUR DURING THIS TIME, RIVERS AND
STREAMS MAY RISE QUICKLY OUT OF THEIR BANKS.

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE LIKELY ACROSS FLORIDA EACH DAILY
NEAR A LINGERING FRONTAL BOUNDARY. LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS WITH
MAINLY LIGHT ACCUMULATIONS ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE GREAT LAKES.
ELSEWHERE, SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE WILL DOMINATE AND KEEP CALM
CONDITIONS IN THE FORECAST. TEMPERATURES ACROSS MUCH OF THE
COUNTRY LOOK TO BE NEAR OR BELOW NORMAL WITH THE GREATEST
DEPARTURES EXPECTED ACROSS THE SOUTHERN PLAINS WHERE AFTERNOON
HIGHS COULD BE 15 TO 25 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL.
