WEATHER FOR THE UPPER GREAT LAKES AND NORTHERN ROCKIES...  
 
A STORM SYSTEM OVER THE CENTRAL PLAINS THIS EVENING WILL CONTINUE  
NORTHEASTWARD INTO THE GREAT LAKES REGION BY TOMORROW AFTERNOON,  
WITH AN AREA OF RAIN AND SOME THUNDERSTORMS ALONG ITS PATH ACROSS  
THE CORN BELT SOUTHWARD TO THE OZARKS TONIGHT INTO EARLY  
WEDNESDAY. BY TOMORROW, THE FRONT WILL CONTINUE EASTWARD AND  
AFTERNOON THUNDERSTORMS ARE AGAIN POSSIBLE AHEAD OF THE COLD FRONT  
OVER PARTS OF THE MIDWEST. TEMPERATURES WILL BE MILD AHEAD OF THE  
COLD FRONT ACROSS THE OHIO VALLEY, REACHING INTO THE 70S (NORTH)  
TO 80S FARTHER SOUTH ACROSS THE LOWER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY. LIGHTER  
RAIN IS EXPECTED FARTHER NORTH TOWARD THE CANADIAN BORDER, AMIDST  
COOLER TEMPERATURES IN THE 50S/60S, AS WELL AS INTO THE  
MID-ATLANTIC AND NORTHEAST AS THE SYSTEM STARTS TO WEAKEN.  
 
FARTHER WEST, COLDER TEMPERATURES BEHIND ANOTHER COLD FRONT MOVING  
OUT OF EASTERN MONTANA WILL SUPPORT SNOW OVER MUCH OF THE NORTHERN  
ROCKIES AND INTO THE FOOTHILL LOCATIONS, ESPECIALLY OVER NORTHERN  
WYOMING. SNOW WILL CONTINUE ACROSS WESTERN MONTANA TONIGHT AND  
SLOWLY TAPER OFF ON WEDNESDAY AS THE SYSTEM EXITS THE MOUNTAINS,  
BUT WILL START TO BRING SOME RAIN TO THE CENTRAL PLAINS STARTING  
EARLY THURSDAY. FOR THE SOUTHWEST, WARMER TEMPERATURES INTO THE  
80S/90S WILL BE COMMON TOMORROW UNDER FAIR CONDITIONS. INTO SOUTH  
TEXAS, TEMPERATURES MAY AGAIN CLIMB WELL INTO THE 90S TO NEAR 100F  
AS THE SOUTHERN END OF THE FRONTAL BOUNDARY STARTS TO DISSIPATE.
