A WAVE OF LOW PRESSURE OVER THE GREAT LAKES ON MONDAY WILL MOVE  
NORTHEASTWARD OFF THE NORTHEAST COAST BY TUESDAY EVENING. THE  
SYSTEM WILL PRODUCE LIGHT SNOW OVER PARTS OF MICHIGAN ON MONDAY  
EVENING, ENDING BY TUESDAY MORNING. OVERNIGHT MONDAY INTO TUESDAY,  
LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW WILL DEVELOP OVER PARTS OF THE  
NORTHEAST/NORTHERN MID-ATLANTIC. ALONG THE RAIN/SNOW LINE, LIGHT  
RAIN/FREEZING RAIN AREAS WILL DEVELOP OVER PARTS OF THE  
MID-ATLANTIC/CENTRAL APPALACHIANS THROUGH EARLY TUESDAY MORNING  
INTO TUESDAY EVENING.  
 
MOREOVER, LIGHT RAIN WILL DEVELOP FROM THE SOUTHERN PLAINS TO THE  
OHIO VALLEY ON MONDAY. THE RAIN WILL CONTINUE OVER PARTS OF THE  
MIDDLE MISSISSIPPI AND OHIO VALLEYS THROUGH WEDNESDAY. IN  
ADDITION, RETURN FLOW OFF THE GULF OF MEXICO WILL STREAM MOISTURE  
OVER THE SOUTHERN PLAINS, PRODUCING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS  
OVERNIGHT MONDAY THROUGH TUESDAY. OVERNIGHT TUESDAY, THE SHOWERS  
AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE INTO PARTS OF THE LOWER MISSISSIPPI  
VALLEY AND CONTINUE THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING.  
 
FURTHERMORE, LOW PRESSURE WILL DEVELOP ALONG THE SOUTHEAST COAST  
AND SLOWLY MOVE NORTHEASTWARD OUT OVER THE WESTERN ATLANTIC. THE  
LOW WILL PULL MOISTURE OFF THE ATLANTIC AND STREAM THE MOISTURE  
NORTHWARD OVER THE SOUTHERN MID-ATLANTIC, PRODUCING LIGHT RAIN  
OVER THE AREA THROUGH TUESDAY NIGHT.  
 
MEANWHILE, ON MONDAY INTO TUESDAY, A FRONT OVER THE EASTERN  
PACIFIC WILL MOVE ONSHORE OVER THE WEST COAST AND CONTINUE TO MOVE  
INTO THE GREAT BASIN/SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA BY TUESDAY AND INTO THE  
SOUTHERN HIGH PLAINS BY WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. THE SYSTEM WILL BRING  
MOISTURE ONSHORE, PRODUCING LIGHT RAIN OVER THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST  
AND MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN OVER NORTHERN CALIFORNIA. AS THE FRONT  
PASSES, RAIN WILL TURN OVER TO SNOW OVER PARTS OF THE HIGHER  
ELEVATIONS OF THE NORTHWEST AND NORTHERN/CENTRAL CALIFORNIA AND  
LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW OVER THE SIERRA NEVADA MOUNTAINS MONDAY  
NIGHT INTO TUESDAY. THE SYSTEM WILL CREATE LOWER-ELEVATION RAIN  
AND HIGHER-ELEVATION SNOW OVER PARTS OF THE NORTHERN INTERMOUNTAIN  
REGION AND THE GREAT BASIN TUESDAY EVENING INTO WEDNESDAY. LIGHT  
SNOW WILL MOVE INTO PARTS OF THE CENTRAL/SOUTHERN ROCKIES BY  
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON.  
 
MOREOVER, ANOTHER BOUNDARY OVER THE EASTERN PACIFIC WILL APPROACH  
THE NORTHWEST COAST ON WEDNESDAY. MOISTURE ASSOCIATED WITH THE  
STORM WILL PRODUCE LIGHT RAIN AND HIGHER-ELEVATION SNOW OVER PARTS  
OF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST.
