...THERE IS A CRITICAL RISK OF FIRE WEATHER OVER PARTS OF ARIZONA  
ON SATURDAY...  
 
A DEVELOPING UPPER-LEVEL LOW OVER CALIFORNIA WILL SLOWLY MOVE TO  
SOUTHEASTERN CALIFORNIA BY MONDAY EVENING. THE SYSTEM WILL PRODUCE  
RAIN AND HIGHER-ELEVATION SNOW OVER PARTS OF CENTRAL/SOUTHERN  
CALIFORNIA THROUGH MONDAY. MODERATE SNOW WILL DEVELOP OVER PARTS  
OF THE SIERRA NEVADA MOUNTAINS, AND HEAVY SNOW WILL FALL OVER THE  
SAN GABRIEL AND SAN BERNARDINO MOUNTAINS.  
 
MOREOVER, THE SPC HAS ISSUED A CRITICAL RISK OF FIRE WEATHER OVER  
PARTS OF ARIZONA ON SATURDAY AND AN ELEVATED RISK OF FIRE WEATHER  
ON SUNDAY.  
 
MEANWHILE, A FRONT EXTENDING FROM THE GREAT LAKES TO THE SOUTHERN  
HIGH PLAINS WILL MOVE EASTWARD TO OFF THE NORTHEAST/MID-ATLANTIC  
BY SUNDAY EVENING. THE STORM WILL PRODUCE LIGHT SNOW OVER THE  
GREAT LAKES INTO THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF NORTHERN NEW ENGLAND  
THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING. MODERATE TO HEAVY LAKE-ENHANCED SNOW WILL  
ALSO DOWNWIND FROM LAKE ONTARIO.  
 
ON MONDAY, ANOTHER FRONT MOVES SOUTHWARD OUT OF CENTRAL CANADA  
INTO THE UPPER GREAT LAKES. FROM MONDAY AFTERNOON INTO EVENING,  
THE SYSTEM WILL DEVELOP LIGHT SNOW OVER THE GREAT LAKES.  
 
FURTHERMORE, A WAVE OF LOW PRESSURE OVER THE SOUTHERN PLAINS WILL  
MOVE NORTHEASTWARD TO THE CAROLINAS BY MONDAY. THE BOUNDARY WILL  
TRIGGER SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER PARTS OF THE SOUTHERN  
PLAINS, MOVING INTO THE LOWER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY BY SUNDAY  
MORNING. OVERNIGHT SUNDAY, THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL  
EXPAND EASTWARD INTO THE SOUTHEAST AND BY MONDAY EVENING, THE  
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BEGIN TO TAPER OFF ALONG THE FRONT.
