SATELLITE IMAGERY AND LOCAL RADARS SHOW AN ACTIVE WEATHER PATTERN  
ONGOING ACROSS HAWAII WITH THE HEAVIEST ACTIVITY CURRENTLY  
CONCENTRATED SOUTH AND EAST OF THE BIG ISLAND IN AN AXIS OF  
DEEPENED TROPICAL MOISTURE. THE MODELS AND ENSEMBLES ARE IN  
DECENT AGREEMENT ON THE SYNOPTIC SCALE PATTERN OVER THE HAWAII  
DOMAIN THROUGH NEXT WEEK. A HINT OF AN OMEGA BLOCK FLOW PATTERN  
OVER THE CENTRAL PACIFIC IS INDICATED IN THE GUIDANCE, WITH THE  
MAIN RIDGE AXIS SITUATED GENERALLY NEAR 150W WITH UPPER LEVEL  
TROUGHS TO THE SOUTHWEST AND SOUTHEAST OF THE UPPER LEVEL HIGH.  
THE UPPER LEVEL LOW CURRENTLY NORTHWEST OF THE ISLANDS IS FORECAST  
TO SLOWLY DRIFT NORTHWARD OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS, FOLLOWED BY  
ANOTHER UPPER LOW IN THE SAME GENERAL AREA BY THE END OF THE  
FORECAST PERIOD. THIS MAY ONCE AGAIN ADVECT THE DEEPEST  
PRECIPITABLE WATER AXIS WESTWARD NEXT WEEK, PERHAPS WEST OF KAUAI.  
TRADES SHOULD MEANWHILE BUILD THROUGH NEXT WEEK AS A STRONG  
SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE NORTHEAST OF THE STATE OVER THE EASTERN  
PACIFIC. NO COLD FRONTS ARE EXPECTED TO APPROACH THE ISLANDS OVER  
THE NEXT 7 DAYS.
