TRADES SHOULD REMAIN AROUND MODERATE LEVELS ON WEDNESDAY AND SHIFT
TO A BIT SOUTHEASTERLY AS THE SURFACE PRESSURE GRADIENT WEAKENS IN
FAVOR OF A WEAK TROUGH. THIS IS IN RESPONSE TO A SHORTWAVE TROUGH
AND LIKELY SMALL CLOSED MID-UPPER LOW DROPPING NORTHWEST OF THE
STATE. THE SHIFTING WINDS SHOULD CARRY ANY ENHANCED MOISTURE AWAY
FROM THE STATE FOR DRIER CONDITIONS. TRADES WILL GRADUALLY
INCREASE THURSDAY INTO FRIDAY BACK TO BREEZY LEVELS AS A SURFACE
HIGH BUILDS NORTH OF THE STATE. THIS HIGH ACTUALLY LOOKS TO SINK
EVEN CLOSER TO THE STATE BY EARLY NEXT WEEK AND STRENGTHEN TRADES
FURTHER. THE HIGH COULD ALSO PUSH A COLD FRONT ACROSS AT LEAST
PART OF THE STATE DURING THE FIRST HALF OF NEXT WEEK, WITH
MOISTURE POOLING AHEAD OF IT POSSIBLY INCREASING SHOWERS
ESPECIALLY FOR WINDWARD AND MAUKA AREAS, AND BRING DRIER DEWPOINTS
BEHIND THE FRONT.
