HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD TO THE NORTH TODAY, CAUSING TRADE WINDS
TO INCREASE AND BECOME GUSTY THROUGH MID-WEEK. SHOWERS WILL BE
POSSIBLE FOR WINDWARD LOCATIONS WITH A FEW SHOWERS MAKING IT TO
LEEWARD AREAS. THE HIGH WILL GRADUALLY SHIFT TO THE NORTHEAST AS A
LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVES EAST ACROSS THE NORTH PACIFIC BETWEEN
35-40 DEGREES NORTH. THIS LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL BRING A
TRAILING COLD FRONT TOWARD THE STATE LATE THIS WEEK, THEN THE
FRONT WILL WEAKEN AND STALL NEAR THE FAR NORTHWESTERN ISLANDS THIS
WEEKEND. AS THE FRONT APPROACHES, WINDS WILL BECOME LIGHT AND
MOISTURE AND RAIN CHANCES WILL INCREASE, ESPECIALLY ACROSS THE
WESTERN END OF THE STATE.
