GUIDANCE REASONABLY AGREES IN SHOWING POST-FRONTAL DRIER DEWPOINTS
AND SLIGHTLY COOLER TEMPERATURES IN THE NEAR TERM WHILE
NORTHEASTERLY WINDS WILL BE RATHER STRONG, PROMPTING ONGOING HIGH
WIND RELATED WARNINGS AND ADVISORIES. WINDS GRADUALLY DECREASE IN
MAGNITUDE INTO THE WEEKEND (THOUGH REMAINING BREEZY) WHILE VEERING
A BIT TO A MORE EASTERLY DIRECTION. GENERALLY DRY CONDITIONS ARE
LIKELY GIVEN THE BELOW NORMAL MOISTURE IN PLACE. MOISTURE WILL
GRADUALLY INCREASE NEXT WEEK WHILE EASTERLY TRADES CONTINUE AND
SHOULD RESTRENGTHEN AS A SURFACE HIGH BRIDGES TO THE NORTH OF
HAWAII. THIS COULD LEAD TO WINDWARD/MAUKA SHOWERS, PERHAPS
BECOMING MORE WIDESPREAD INTO THE LATTER HALF OF NEXT WEEK WHEN
MODELS INDICATE PRECIPITABLE WATER VALUES COMING BACK TO ABOVE
NORMAL LEVELS UNDER MEAN UPPER TROUGH INFLUENCE.
