AN AIRMASS WITH REDUCED MOISTURE AND FLOW MAY PERSIST THROUGH THE
WEEKEND AS SURFACE RIDGING HOLDS IN PLACE. THIS SHOULD LIMIT
PRECIPITATION CHANCES IN A LAND/SEA BREEZE PATTERN. MODELS AND
ENSEMBLES REASONABLY AGREE THAT ANOTHER FRONT IN A RECENT PATTERN
LOOKS TO STALL NORTH OF THE STATE OVER THE WEEKEND, WITH A
MOISTURE POOLING TRAILING PORTION SLOWLY APPROACHING FROM THE
NORTHWEST. SOUTHERLY WINDS IN ADVANCE OF THIS FRONT WILL GRADUALLY
STRENGTHEN TO MODERATE AND THEN PERHAPS BREEZY LEVELS EARLY NEXT
WEEK. THIS WOULD GRADUALLY BRING IN A MUCH MORE MOIST AIRMASS AND
DEEPER SHOWERS INTO THE WESTERN ISLANDS, BUT WITH RIDGING ALOFT
NOT MANY SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED FOR THE REST OF THE STATE. THE FRONT
AND A ROUND OF GUSTY WINDS AND RAIN SEEMS INCREASINGLY LIKELY WORK
ACROSS THE ISLAND MID-LATER NEXT WEEK WITH RENEWED HEIGHT FALLS
AND FOCUS AS AN ENERGETIC UPPER TROUGH PASSES JUST TO THE NORTH OF
THE STATE.
