VALID 00Z MON FEB 05 2024 - 00Z MON FEB 12 2024

HIGH PRESSURE TO THE NORTH OF HAWAII WILL SUPPORT A PERIOD OF
STRONG WINDS THROUGH THURSDAY, WITH HIGH SURF FOR NORTH AND WEST
FACING SHORES LIKELY. UPPER RIDGING WILL BUILD OVER THE STATE BY
EARLY NEXT WEEK AND WITH AN OVERALL DRIER AIRMASS IN PLACE, THIS
SHOULD KEEP ANY SHOWER CHANCES TO MAINLY WINDWARD FACING SLOPES.
THIS GENERAL PATTERN SHOULD PERSIST FOR ABOUT THE NEXT WEEK,
THOUGH WINDS SHOULD TREND MUCH LIGHTER AND IN A MORE SOUTHEASTERLY
DIRECTION NEXT FRIDAY-SUNDAY AHEAD OF A SYSTEM PASSING TO THE
NORTH AND MORE ZONAL FLOW ALOFT. THE LATEST MODELS AND ENSEMBLES
CONTINUE TO SHOW EXCELLENT AGREEMENT ON THIS PATTERN WITH SOME
VARIABILITY IN SOME OF THE SMALLER SCALE DETAILS.
