WEAK HIGH PRESSURE WILL BE JUST NORTH OF HAWAII THROUGH THIS  
WEEKEND. A COL DEVELOPS IN THE SURFACE HIGH BY EARLY NEXT WEEK  
WITH A FRONTAL BOUNDARY PASSING WELL NORTH OF THE ISLANDS  
ACCORDING TO THE LATEST ENSEMBLE MEANS. THE SURFACE HIGH WILL  
LIKELY BUILD BACK IN NORTH OF THE STATE GOING INTO THE MIDDLE TO  
END OF NEXT WEEK.  
 
THERE WILL LIKELY BE ENHANCED SHOWERS FOR THE BIG ISLAND THROUGH  
LATE SATURDAY OWING TO THE VICINITY OF THE FRONTAL BOUNDARY, AND  
LESS COVERAGE OF SHOWERS FARTHER NORTHWEST. SCATTERED SHOWERS ARE  
LIKELY TO PERSIST BEYOND THIS TIME, BUT ABATING IN INTENSITY AS A  
DRIER OVERALL ENVIRONMENT ADVECTS INTO THE REGION, AND NOT MAJOR  
RAINFALL EVENTS ARE EXPECTED THROUGH THE UPCOMING WEEK. LIGHT TO  
MODERATE TRADE WIND FLOW FROM THE NORTHEAST IS EXPECTED THROUGH  
EARLY NEXT WEEK, WITH SOME VEERING TO THE EAST BY THE MIDDLE OF  
THE WEEK.
