THE PERSISTENT UPPER TROUGH, WITH ASSOCIATED SURFACE TROUGH, THAT
HAS BEEN IN PLACE NEAR 170W OVER THE PAST FEW DAYS IS FINALLY
EXPECTED TO FLATTEN OUT AND WEAKEN GOING INTO THURSDAY, WITH THE
COL IN THE SUBTROPICAL HIGH FILLING BACK IN AS THE HIGH BUILDS
BACK WESTWARD NORTH OF THE ISLANDS. LOOKING AHEAD TO NEXT
TUESDAY/WEDNESDAY, THE MODEL GUIDANCE AGREES THAT ANOTHER COL WILL
DEVELOP WITHIN THE SUBTROPICAL RIDGE AXIS, AND THIS TIME A LITTLE
CLOSER TO THE STATE.

THE LOW LEVEL TRADES SHOULD GENERALLY BE OUT OF THE EAST THROUGH
THURSDAY NIGHT BEFORE BACKING SLIGHTLY TO THE ENE AS THE PRESSURE
GRADIENT BECOMES MORE ZONAL. BREEZY CONDITIONS ARE LIKELY MOST
DAYS WITH WINDS OF 15-25 MPH. NO MAJOR RAINFALL EVENTS ARE
EXPECTED OVER THE UPCOMING WEEK, ALTHOUGH TERRAIN ENHANCED SHOWERS
WILL CONTINUE.
