A FAVORED COMPOSITE OF REASONABLY WELL CLUSTERED MODELS AND
ENSEMBLES INDICATES THAT A MOSTLY DRY PATTERN WITH MAINLY LIGHT
SHOWERS FOR WINDWARD/MAUKA LOCATIONS MAY LINGER WITH THE STATE IN
A POSITION TO THE WEST OF A MAIN UPPER TROUGH. SOME INFLUX OF
MOISTURE INTO THE ISLANDS FROM SOUTHEAST OF THE STATE BY THE
WEEKEND MAY FUEL SOME UPTICK OF PRECIPITATION CHANCES. HIGH
PRESSURE SLATED TO STRONGLY BUILD/BRIDGE TO THE NORTH OF THE STATE
LATER WEEKEND AND NEXT WEEK WILL RAMP UP TRADES TRADE AND AN
ASSOCIATED WINDWARD SHOWER FOCUS. THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER
ALSO CONTINUES TO MONITOR A DISTURBANCE OVER THE TROPICAL EASTERN
PACIFIC THAT MAY ALLOW SOME DEEPER MOISTURE WORK THROUGH THE
ISLANDS TO FUEL SHOWERS INTO NEXT MIDWEEK.
