A FAVORED BLEND OF REASONABLY WELL CLUSTERED MODEL AND ENSEMBLE
GUIDANCE INDICATES THAT ISLAND TRADES SHOULD REACH MORE BREEZY
LEVELS OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS AS HIGH PRESSURE BRIDGES TO
THE NORTH OF THE STATE. UPPER TROUGH PROXIMITY FROM THE WEST AND
A STALLED FRONT JUST TO THE NORTH AND WEST OF THE ISLANDS FAVORS
MOISTURE POOLING OVER THE STATE. SHOWERS WITH SOME ENHANCED RAIN
TOTALS MAY LINGER EARLY THIS WEEK. MORE TYPICAL TRADE WINDS MAY
RETURN MIDWEEK AS MOISTURE LEVELS GRADUALLY FALL AS THE TROUGH
LOSES SOME INFLUENCE, BUT FLOW MAY REVAMP HEADING INTO THE
WEEKEND. THERE IS THEN AN EMERGING GUIDANCE SIGNAL IN SUPPORT OF
ENERGETIC MID-LATITUDE UPPER TROUGH PASSAGE TO THE NORTH OF THE
STATE BY EARLY NEXT WEEK THAT MAY DISRUPT TRADES WHILE FORCING AN
ASSOCIATED AND RAINFALL FOCUSING COLD FRONT TOWARD THE ISLANDS.
