HAWAII EXTENDED FORECAST DISCUSSION
NWS WEATHER PREDICTION CENTER COLLEGE PARK MD
353 AM EST FRI NOV 7 2025

VALID 00Z SAT 08 NOV 2025 - 00Z SAT 15 NOV 2025

WEAK WINDS ARE FORECAST FOR FRIDAY, ALLOWING FOR A LAND AND SEA
BREEZE PATTERN TO SET UP ACROSS HAWAII. LIGHT AND ISOLATED SHOWERS
ARE POSSIBLE PER THE HREF, BUT CONDITIONS SHOULD MAINLY STAY DRY.
INTO THE WEEKEND, A COLD FRONT WILL SWEEP THROUGH THE STATE. SOME
MOISTURE POOLING AHEAD OF THE FRONT WILL INCREASE RAIN CHANCES AS
THE FRONT PUSHES THROUGH. MOISTURE SHOULD REMAIN SOMEWHAT SHALLOW
THOUGH, SO HEAVY RAIN CAUSING FLOODING IS NOT A BIG CONCERN.
STRONG WINDS ARE LIKELY BEHIND THE FRONT WITH AN EAST-
NORTHEASTERLY DIRECTION. WINDS SHOULD SHIFT BACK SLIGHTLY TO THE
EASTERLY DIRECTION INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK WHILE REMAINING BREEZY TO
STRONG AS SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE SETS UP NORTH OF THE STATE.
ANOTHER FRONT MAY APPROACH HAWAII MID TO LATE WEEK, BRINGING
ANOTHER ROUND OF LIGHT TO MODERATE PRECIPITATION AS WINDY
CONDITIONS CONTINUE.
