A COL WILL EXIST WITHIN THE MAIN SUBTROPICAL RIDGE AXIS TO THE  
NORTH OF HAWAII THROUGH THE BEGINNING OF THE WEEK AS A FRONTAL  
BOUNDARY REACHES DOWN TO ABOUT 30 DEGREES NORTH. THIS WILL AID TO  
WEAKEN THE LOW LEVEL WINDS A LITTLE WITH PERHAPS SOME VEERING TO  
THE ESE. THE TYPICAL TRADE WIND BASED SHOWERS CAN BE EXPECTED MOST  
DAYS THROUGH THANKSGIVING.  
 
LOOKING AHEAD TO NEXT WEEKEND, THE ENSEMBLE MEANS ARE INDICATING  
THE APPROACH OF A RELATIVELY STRONG COLD FRONT EXTENDING SOUTH  
FROM A WELL ORGANIZED LOW PRESSURE CENTER NEAR 40 DEGREES NORTH.  
THE PROSPECTS FOR HEAVIER RAINFALL EXIST ACROSS THE NORTHWESTERN  
ISLANDS BY SATURDAY, WITH NORTHERLY WINDS FOR AREAS BEHIND THE  
FRONT, AND SOUTHEASTERLY FLOW AHEAD OF IT. HIGH PRESSURE THEN  
BUILDS BACK IN NORTH OF THE ISLANDS BY NEXT MONDAY.
