..SYNOPSIS

FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS ARE NOT EXPECTED TODAY ACROSS THE COUNTRY. A
WEAKENING, THOUGH HIGH-AMPLITUDE, UPPER-LEVEL TROUGH OVER THE
SOUTHWEST/NORTHERN MEXICO WILL CONTINUE TO SUPPORT WIDESPREAD
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE SOUTHWEST AND SOUTH-CENTRAL
CONUS FOR TODAY. RECENT RAINFALL ACROSS THE MIDWEST/MID-ATLANTIC HAS
HELPED IMPROVE SOIL MOISTURE, AND WHILE DRY CONDITIONS PERSIST
ACROSS PARTS OF THE SOUTHEAST, A RETURN TO SEASONAL DEWPOINTS/RH
VALUES AND WEAK WINDS WILL LIMIT FIRE WEATHER POTENTIAL.
