BASED ON RECENT SATELLITE IMAGERY/DATA, WEATHER OBSERVATIONS, RADAR,  
AND METEOROLOGICAL ANALYSIS.

NEAR EQUATORIAL TROUGH...  
A NEAR-EQUATORIAL TROUGH STRETCHES FROM 7N130E TO 3N135E TO EQ145E.  
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE OBSERVED SOUTH OF  
KOROR AND YAP ISLAND. THIS TROUGH IS EXPECTED TO SHOW LITTLE CHANGE  
IN EITHER POSITION OR LOCATION THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.  
 
TRADE-WIND TROUGHS...  
A TRADE-WIND TROUGH RUNS FROM 6N137E TO 15N136E. SURGING TRADES BEHIND  
THIS TROUGH ARE CONVERGING INTO IT, BUILDING UP AN EAST-WEST BAND OF  
SHOWERS FROM SOUTHEAST OF YAP ISLAND TO NEAR CHUUK. THIS TROUGH IS  
FORECAST TO GRADUALLY MOVE WESTWARD WITH LITTLE CHANGE OF INTENSITY  
THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.  
 
OTHER SYSTEMS...  
A SHEAR LINE CUTS FROM 25N152E TO 13N130E. EXTENSIVE LOW TO MID-LEVEL  
CLOUDS AND PATCHY SHOWERS ARE FOUND ALONG AND NORTH OF THIS LINE TO  
BEYOND 25N. THIS IS NORTH OF KOROR AND YAP, NEAR AND NORTH OF ASUNCION  
IN THE MARIANAS, AND WELL NORTH OF CHUUK. THIS BOUNDARY IS PROGGED TO  
SHOW LITTLE MOVEMENT OR CHANGE OF ITENSITY OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF  
DAYS.
