WELL, IT WAS A WARM SUMMER ACROSS THE REGION, ESPECIALLY INLAND.  
ADD TO THAT A VERY DRY SUMMER. NOW THAT A TASTE OF AUTUMN IS ABOUT  
TO ARRIVE, LETS PUT THE SUMMER OF 2018 INTO HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE.  
 
DRY ACROSS THE REGION, BUT A FEW DROPS HERE AND THERE DID SNAP  
CONSECUTIVE DAYS WITH NO RAIN FOR MOST AREAS. BUT, DRY STREAKS  
CONTINUE AT SALEM AND EUGENE.
