SYNOPSIS FOR THE SOUTHERN OREGON COASTAL WATERS
 
STEEP TO VERY  
STEEP AND HAZARDOUS SEAS WILL PERSIST THROUGH TODAY DUE TO A MIX  
OF A SHORTER PERIOD HIGHER SWELL AND A LONGER PERIOD LOWER SWELL.  
THE SHORTER PERIOD SWELL PEAKS TODAY. SEAS DIMINISH SOME LATER  
INTO TUESDAY, BUT WILL REMAIN STEEP. AFTER A BRIEF PERIOD OF  
RELATIVELY IMPROVED CONDITIONS TUESDAY, A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL  
MOVE ONSHORE WEDNESDAY. STRONG SOUTHERLY WINDS, POSSIBLY GALES,  
ARE ANTICIPATED AHEAD OF THIS FRONT LATE TUESDAY NIGHT INTO  
WEDNESDAY MORNING. THIS WILL BE FOLLOWED BY A BUILDING NORTHWEST  
SWELL WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO THURSDAY.
