..ALL RIVER FORECAST POINTS WERE BELOW FLOOD STAGE THIS MORNING
 
 
 
IN THE WAKE OF A DEPARTING COLD FRONT, THE REGION RECEIVED BETWEEN  
ONE-HALF AND ONE INCH OF RAIN ACROSS OUR RIVER BASINS. SOMEWHAT  
HIGHER AMOUNTS FELL ACROSS UPSTATE HEADWATERS.  
 
MINOR TO MODERATE RISES MAY THEN OCCUR SATURDAY THROUGH MONDAY  
AS WATER FROM BOTH RUNOFF AND HYDRO RELEASES MOVES DOWNSTREAM.  
LARGEST RISES ARE GENERALLY EXPECTED ALONG THE CATABWA, WATEREE  
AND CONGAREE RIVERS.  
 
WEAK HIGH PRESSURE FROM THE WEST WILL PUSH DRIER AIR BACK INTO THE  
AREA SATURDAY THROUGH SUNDAY. TWO FAST-MOVING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEMS  
WILL THEN AFFECT THE AREA. THE FIRST WILL OCCUR SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH  
MONDAY MORNING INTERVAL, AND THE SECOND LATE TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH  
WEDNESDAY. RAINFALL WITH BOTH OF THESE SYSTEMS IS EXPECTED TO BE  
SPOTTY AND LIMITED.
