DISCUSSION

UNDER HIGH PRESSURE, WE EXPECT NO RAIN TODAY THROUGH THIS
EVENING. AS THE SEA BREEZE ADVANCES INLAND, SOUTHEAST WINDS
COULD GUST AROUND 20 MPH THIS AFTERNOON. SOUTH WINDS WILL
GRADUALLY STRENGTHEN TONIGHT, AND WINDS COULD BEGIN TO GUST
TO AT LEAST 20-25 MPH AFTER MIDNIGHT. ALSO, SHOWERS ARE POSSIBLE
AFTER MIDNIGHT. A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL SWEEP THROUGH THE
REGION FRIDAY. AHEAD OF THAT FRONT, EXPECT STRONG SOUTH WINDS,
AND A BAND OF THUNDERSTORMS, SOME SEVERE, WILL PUSH THROUGH
THE AREA DURING THE AFTERNOON. THEN, A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE WILL
LINGER WITH GUSTY WEST-SOUTHWEST WINDS, CLOUDS AND EVEN A FEW
SHOWERS THROUGH SATURDAY. HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD INTO THE AREA
LATE THIS WEEKEND AND WILL PREVAIL INTO THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK.

FOG POTENTIAL FOR TONIGHT: NONE.
