..FIRE DANGER STATEMENT IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EDT THIS EVENING
 
 
RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES AWAY FROM THE IMMEDIATE COAST ARE 20 TO  
25 PERCENT WHILE WESTERLY WINDS ARE OCCASIONALLY GUSTING TO 20 TO  
25 MPH.  
 
THERE HAS BEEN LITTLE RAINFALL THE PAST WEEK, AND RAINFALL THE  
PAST 30 DAYS IS GENERALLY BELOW AVERAGE.  
 
THESE CONDITIONS ARE LEADING TO AN ELEVATED FIRE DANGER ACROSS  
MOST OF SOUTHEAST SOUTH CAROLINA AND SOUTHEAST GEORGIA AWAY FROM  
THE IMMEDIATE COAST.
