DISCUSSION

HIGH PRESSURE SETTLING INTO THE REGION WILL BRING BREEZY CONDITIONS
TO NORTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA, WITH LESS WIND EXPECTED WEST OF THE JAMES
VALLEY. THE WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY THIS AFTERNOON WILL
SUPPORT HIGH GRASSLAND FIRE DANGER OVER THE NORTHEAST PART OF THE
STATE. THE FOCUS FOR TUESDAY SWITCHES TO WEST RIVER WHERE INCREASING
SOUTHERLY WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY WILL SUPPORT HIGH FIRE
DANGER BY AFTERNOON.
