..RISES FORECAST TO OCCUR ON THE TENNESSEE RIVER AT WHITESBURG
 
 
RUNOFF FROM RAINFALL IS EXPECTED TO CAUSE RIVER LEVELS TO RISE  
RAPIDLY ON THE TENNESSEE RIVER, AND NUISANCE FLOODING OF LOWLANDS  
MAY OCCUR. THE RIVER COULD POTENTIALLY REACH FLOOD STAGE BY THIS  
EVENING.  
 
AT 3 AM WEDNESDAY THE STAGE WAS 16.1 FEET. ACTION STAGE IS 15.0  
FEET. FLOOD STAGE IS 17.0 FEET. AT 19.0 FEET...THE ENTRANCE TO THE  
DITTO LANDING AREA IS UNDERWATER...ALONG WITH MUCH OF THE BOAT  
HARBOR. SEVERAL ROADS IN NORTHEASTERN MORGAN COUNTY ARE UNDERWATER...  
AND WATER IS BEGINNING TO APPROACH A HOME ON RIVER LOOP ROAD IN THE  
LACEYS SPRING COMMUNITY.  
 
ALL PERSONS WITH INTERESTS ALONG THE RIVER SHOULD MONITOR THE LATEST  
FORECASTS, AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT  
LIFE AND PROPERTY FROM RISING RIVER LEVELS.
