THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST NORTH  
CAROLINA...EAST TENNESSEE AND SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA.  
   
DAY ONE
 
THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT  
 
WIDESPREAD GUSTS BETWEEN 20-35MPH ARE EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON  
BEHIND A COLD FRONT. AS MUCH COLDER AIR FILTERS INTO THE REGION  
TONIGHT, HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF THE EAST TENNESSEE MOUNTAINS COULD  
SEE WIND CHILL VALUES FALL INTO THE TEENS.  
   
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
 
THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY  
 
BREEZY NORTHWEST WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP AREA WIDE  
THURSDAY AND THROUGH THE END OF THE WEEK. HIGHER ELEVATIONS IN  
THE EAST TENNESSEE MOUNTAINS MAY SEE GUSTS UP TO 45 MPH AT TIMES.  
GUSTS BETWEEN 20 AND 30 MPH ARE POSSIBLE ELSEWHERE.  
 
AS COLDER AIR USHERS INTO THE REGION, COLDER TEMPS AND BLUSTERY  
WINDS WILL LEAD TO WIND CHILLS FALLING INTO THE LOW TO MID 30S  
FROM THURSDAY THROUGH FRIDAY ACROSS MOST VALLEY LOCATIONS. WIND  
CHILLS IN THE TEENS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF THE  
EAST TENNESSEE MOUNTAINS AND SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA.  
 
LASTLY, A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF  
THE EAST TN MOUNTAINS AND SOUTHWEST VA FROM THURSDAY NIGHT THROUGH  
FRIDAY MORNING. GENERALLY, 1 TO 3 INCHES ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE  
HIGHER ELEVATIONS WITHIN THE ADVISORY WITH ISOLATED AMOUNTS FROM 3  
TO 5 INCHES ON THE TALLEST PEAKS.
