THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST NORTH  
CAROLINA...EAST TENNESSEE AND SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA.  
   
DAY ONE
 
THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT  
 
SCATTERED AFTERNOON THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE MAINLY SOUTH  
OF I-40 THIS AFTERNOON. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL IS POSSIBLE AND MAY  
LEAD TO SOME LOCALIZED FLASH FLOODING. A WARM AND HUMID AIRMASS  
WILL KEEP HEAT INDEX READINGS IN THE UPPER 90S TO NEAR 105 DEGREES ACROSS  
PARTS OF THE TENNESSEE VALLEY THIS AFTERNOON.  
   
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
 
SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY  
 
A FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL MOVE INTO THE REGION LATE MONDAY AND  
MONDAY NIGHT. SOME OF THESE STORMS MAY BE STRONG ON MONDAY  
PRODUCING STRONG AND GUSTY WINDS, HEAVY RAINFALL RATES, AND  
FREQUENT LIGHTNING.  
 
VERY WARM AND MUGGY CONDITIONS ARE ALSO EXPECTED THIS WEEKEND,  
ESPECIALLY SATURDAY. MAX HEAT INDEX VALUES BETWEEN 100 TO 105  
DEGREES ARE EXPECTED ACROSS OF THE VALLEY ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON.  
THE COMBINATION OF HOT TEMPERATURES AND HIGH HUMIDITY WILL COMBINE  
TO CREATE A SITUATION IN WHICH HEAT ILLNESSES ARE POSSIBLE AND
